Thursday Welcome

Welcome to Viking Vintage Night!

At the welcome reception on Thursday night, we welcome you to dig in your closets for your vintage Viking attire. Viking Pump socks? Letter jacket? Product promo shirts or caps? Wear with pride and show the history represented in this organization.

Along with the vintage wear, do you have photos from previous VPDA meetings? We would love to collect some photos celebrating the people and activities of the last 24 years. Friday Tour

Friday morning we will take advantage of being in Cedar Falls and we will host a tour of our facilities. Please be sure to wear closed toed shoes and bring your questions! We’ll highlight the production process, testing practices and lab standards.

 

Friday Spouse Sip and Paint

Enjoy some time together doing a Sip and Paint activity and enjoy a meal with the other partners. More details to come on this activity.

 

Friday Evening at the Plaza

We are heading to downtown Cedar Falls for an outdoor evening of games, music, and drink. Grab your jacket and comfy shoes and join the competition!

 

Saturday Awards Night

Put on your fancy clothes for Awards Night and walk the blue carpet for cocktails, celebrations and a little intrigue. We recommend formal dress for the nights theme.

There are two airports to choose from:

  • The Eastern Iowa Airport  - CID - in Cedar Rapids, Iowa is about 90 minutes from Cedar Falls.  They have car rentals available.
  • The Waterloo Regional Airport – ALO – in Waterloo, Iowa is about 15 minutes away, but has limited flight schedules.
